Regional Pre-COP Meeting - Europe

The 8th European Ramsar Meeting took place on 20-24 October 2014 in Kufstein, an Alpine town overlooking a strategic passage of the transboundary river Inn.

It was hosted by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forests, Environment and Water Management, the Government of the State Tyrol and the City of Kufstein.

More than 100 participants from different sectors, administrations and private business focused in innovative ways on areas of cooperation for the wise use of water-related ecosystems. Read a concise summary and the results of the Meeting in the “Report and Recommendations” document below.
