Delphine is a Swiss national and holds a BA degree in Business Administration, Foreign Languages and Civilisations from University Paris X - Nanterre.
She worked as a journalist in Germany and China for major German Editing Companies (Axel-Springer Verlag and Burda Verlag). In parallel she worked for several movie production companies in Paris as a Production Assistant. She gained further work experience in the private sector as a Marketing Assistant (Sanofi-Aventis) and Executive Assistant (McKinsey & Company) before fulfilling her wish to be involved in a work more aligned with her values.
Delphine joined the Secretariat of the Convention on Wetlands in June 2014 as an Administrative Assistant and was appointed Executive Assistant to the Secretary General in September 2016. Delphine has been working as the Conference and Governance Services Officer since August 2022, responsible for arranging official meetings of the Governing and Subsidiary Bodies of the Convention, and associated documentation. She is fluent in English, French and German.
