Sladjana brings over 15 years of experience in financial management, project finance and grants management, accounting, donor reporting, budget development and contract administration in international NGOs, UN and international organizations.
Prior to joining the Secretariat of the Convention, Sladjana worked for the UN Institute For Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and before that, she worked for the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF International) as Head of Project Finance Team, responsible for leading the financial management, planning, budgeting, cash-flow and reporting for WWF organizational projects and programmes.
Sladjana is Swiss and Serbian national, and holds a Master in Economics and certifications in Swiss GAAP FER, intercultural and people management.
